  • Beef: Chopped, but nice firm texture.

  • Spare Rib: Wow. Falling off bone. Good smoked flavor. Nice ring, right amount of fat.

  • Sauce: Very good – not too strong either sweet or vinegary.

  • Sausage: Great.

    • Sausage: Great. Casing a bit tough, but rich, spicy flavor. Heavily smoked.

    • Atmosphere: Classic. Started as a DQ (drive thru window, RR in far corner), then a gas station (islands and portico with nice shotgun blast in it), then a joint. Awesome pit in center – stack not plumbed well so place is full of smoke and incredibly hot. A major health hazard for employees.

    • Potato Salad: Strange – ketchup?
