    • Sausage: Sausage has awesome flavor with a nice amount of spice that stays with you while you wait for the next bite.
    • Overall: Where is HPD when you need them, I think my rims just got jacked! What on earth am I going to do with the empty paint cans they left behind?
    • Hot Link: The homemade hot links look like ground up sausage in a casing. They have a large amount of seasoning with great flavor. The links would be awesome on a hoagie with some onions and cheese.
    • Brisket: Brisket overall has beautiful texture and taste. They cut some of the bark off of the brisket but that did not take away from the great taste.
    • Atmosphere: This fine looking place is run by one of Clyde Drexler’s relatives James Drexler. Located just south of downtown Houston off of I-45 it looks like it has been here awhile. Sign on the west wall states that they have “Homemade HOT Links”. The inside of the building of course is filled with plenty of Rockets and U of H memorabilia. “Phi Slama Jama’
    • Spare Rib: Ribs were very moist with excellent robust flavor and some spice.
