dbarrow’s Review of Austins Bar-B-Que
- Atmosphere: Two pits right out front and they serve their meats on butcher paper!! Old gas station with very small serving line area and picnic bench seating out back.
- Dessert: Brownie – I like this a lot!! Melts in your mouth

- Dessert: Brownie – I like this a lot!! Melts in your mouth and has a hint of cinnamon.
Coconut Creme Pie – nice flakey crust with coconut throughout.
- Sauce: Spaghetti sauce, very smooth. Don’t bother here, meats are great, no need for sauce.
- Coleslaw: Finely shredded. Can’t taste anything but cabbage.
- Beans: Taste like canned beans.
- Potato Salad: Packed full of goodies with fair sized potato chunks.
- Sausage: Rich black pepper flavor with light smoke throughout. Some red pepper flakes add a slight kick.
- Brisket: Very tender, with a nice subtle rub.
- Spare Rib: Lightly spiced black pepper rub with a nice, well-balanced smoke flavor.
