Main Fare:

  • Ribs – look awesome & taste damn good to boot. Would like then a lil more tender but greate flavor/smoke. Probab ly needed lil more time in the smoker.
  • Pulled Pork – heavy vinegar taste and mushy texture. Way too much sauce on here for my liking.
  • Brisket – slivers of beef smothered in sauce – not my style

  • Beans – baked beans with kidney beans mixed-in. Nice flavor but needs to cook longer.
  • Slaw – very rough cut with mustard seed mixed-in
  • Pups – finger style cornmeal batter
  • Mac & Cheese – velvety and tasty loaded with gooey cheese

Atmosphere:

  • Nice outdoor serving area with white tent and ceiling fans. Inside is very small but has seating. You stand in line to place your order and they take your name and call you when ready. White plastic tablecloths outside with red chile pepper design is nice touch. Good selection of micro brews – we had Buz’s beer which was quite good. Cooking is done over J&R smoker using green hickoryl.
