- Brisket – Both the firm & fatty side are served. Firm is a little dry, but still fairly good & flavorful. The fatty side is rich and good.
- Spare Rib – SALTY. Meat is juicy and tender… falls apart. But they over-salted today.
- Sausage – This is store-bought Eckridge. Sliced lengthwise. Fair.

OTHER FARE:
- Potato Salad – Chopped potato salad has a different texture, but fairly average taste.
- Pintos – Thick & beefy. Good.
- Sauce – Thin & warm. Good for dippin’ – not much to it, but it doesn’t cover the meat flavor.
ATMOSPHERE:
- The silence is deafening… the joint is completely empty.
- ‘Denmarks’ was the original BBQ joint at this location 100 years ago.
- Habys has been here for 32 years.
- They are cooking with mesquite, but we are denied a tour.
