    • Potato Salad: ‘Pimento-Based’ potato salad. Mushed-style. Good.
    • Coleslaw: Fresh with good crunch. Slightly sweet, but needs some spice. Bland but OK.
    • Sauce: Light sauce; good flavor. Doesn’t cover or hide the flavors in the meat. Goes well with both beef & pork. The way a sauce should be made.
    • Beans: Good pinto-based beans. I like the texture, consistency, & spice… Very nice!
    • Cheese: Chunk-o-Cheddar always rates high in my book!
    • Sausage: Polish – Loose pack; good spices… I like this sausage! Maybe a little tough on the casing today, otherwise a fine offering.
    • Spare Rib: I got a short rib. Meat is flavorful & rich. I’m gnawing the meat off the knuckles…
    • Brisket: Its darn good… but not Angelo’s best day. Chunky & moist as usual — but chewy on the finish.
    • Atmosphere: Well, it’s Angelo’s! Great place; Love it! Has proper ‘mood lighting’ according to Wildman. Lots of dead animals on display. Good pit setup; using hickory. And, of course, $1.95 ice-cold schooners of tap brews!
