MAIN FARE

  • Rib – Best rib on the tour so far.  Just a light rubbing of spices on the exterior… nice.
NOTE: A touch of creosote keeps this item from rating higher
  • Brisket – Good flavor.  "Naked."  Tender meat, but not moist.

  • Sausage – Eckrich.
  • Hot Link – Bologna texture, with a burn that grows…

    OTHER FARE

    • Potato Salad – Mustard based, but sweet.
    • Cole Slaw – Crispy and fresh. KFC style.
    • Okra – Nice touch of home-cookin’ here.
    • Pintos – Very basic, but solid.
    • Sauce – Heavy worchestershire.
    • Banana Pudding – "Mom’s" banana puddin’
    • Peach Cobbler was right out of the oven.

    ATMOSPHERE

    • New building, so we are a bit skeptical upon arrival.  Then we learned that the old place burned, so we know this place has some colorful history.
    • Concrete floor – easy to clean.
    • Nice lady behind the counter, and we recieve good, attentive service.
    • Finally a solid joint on the Red River Tour!
