bkarau’s Review of Lyndons Pit BBQ
  • Pulled Pork: I got it last and it had dried out by then.
  • Atmosphere: ‘NOW THIS DOES NOT LOOK LIKE A JOINT.’ At the end of a strip mall. A gas-fired hell-hole. But (Wildman, ‘they have cold beer here, so fuck St. Arnolds.’

    • Brisket: Lean and firm. Bland – not much smoke flavor. A tad tough.
    • Potato Salad: Great chunk – new potatoes. Touch of dill, but not overpowering.
    • Beans: Pintos: Texture perfect, rich flavor; could have more bite.
    • Coleslaw: Good leaf, but a touch dry. Basically, shredded cabbage.
    • Sausage: Great taste – some herb (sage?) in it. Chunky.
    • Spare Rib: OK. Clean pull, but a bit tough. Some burn thru – a tad overcooked. Good flavor on meat, though.
