  • Dessert: Pecan pie still is the best in Texas!!!

  • Atmosphere: Big Stack of Pecan wood out front. Very busy lunch crowd. I-10W location may have been a better choice for room and atmosphere.

    • Brisket: Very dry, bitter smoke taste today. I have had much better before.

    • Sausage: Funky taste

    • Hot Link: Jalapeno sausage. Really bad today. Funky taste. Measures well on the ASS meter.

    • Pork: Bland, tender, dry, not spicy

    • Sauce: Sweet peppery sauce. Good.

    • Sides: Austin Beans – Nice flavor mixed with vegetables.

    • Coleslaw: Nice carrot, cabbage mix.

    • Spare Rib: Funky smoke taste today. Goode Company let me down today.

    • Beans: Pinto beans were quite spicy.

    • Potato Salad: Mustard & Mayo mix. Very tasty.
